Jim Brooks

Bro. Jim was saved during a summer revival at Panola Missionary Baptist church when he was 15 years old. While Jim is very grateful for the influence on his life by his Sunday School teacher, Ms. Leona Stocks, and friends of the family, Inez Cole and Etta Jones, he gives greatest credit to his mother who raised Jim in church and lived a Christian example before him.

Jim states that there have been times in his life when his walk with the Lord was not all it should have been. ?It was never because He left me but because I strayed. lie has always been there for me."

Jim?s favorite Bible passage is Psalm 23. His favorite hymns are ?Just a Closer Walk with Thee? and ?Amazing Grace.? His favorite Christian writer is Charles Stanley.

Jim and Millie have given themselves in the service of others through the years. They have a full quiver of God?s blessing-five children and one grandchild.

The longing of Jim?s heart is to help Sanford Hill have a greater ministry to people?s needs?both physical and spiritual.
